I’m very inspired by the energy objects hold, which is why I love reusing old canvas and antique frames. The story of the previous piece remains held under the new composition. It adds depth of color, texture, and energy that are palpable when viewed in person. The ultramarine blue contrasts beautifully with the pale blue and the dark charcoal anchors the whole piece.  These palms are loose and painterly, but closer inspection tells the story of timeless beauty and intention that aesthetically minded people know well.
