More of a visual thinker? If there’s a piece you’re considering, I’d love to create a custom digital mockup of the work in your space. This way, you can see how it complements your living environment before making your decision. Ready to explore the possibilities? Visit the contact page to get started and send me a message
As repeat collectors, the Hollenbecks keep in touch. Beth contacted me in late 2024 to show me the piece installed in their newly completed dream house. (below) She had this to say about it in the new house, “It looks like it was made for that spot. Love that it’s in the center space of our home”.
Hollenbeck Project
The Hollenbecks wanted a piece to anchor the dining room in their newly renovated family home in Wichita, KS. The wife, Beth, has a keen eye for interior design and loves to mix antique pieces in with her modern farmhouse style, so a gestural and neutral piece was just right.
When choosing art, scale is paramount, especially where high ceilings and airy interiors are present. You’re not likely to find many pieces of this scale on the market, so they knew a commission was in order.
With size, mood and color pallet agreed on, they were happy to release all control of the final image to me. At 8 feet wide this commissioned piece, reminiscent of a nest, grounds a room that could otherwise feel cavernous and clinical.
1Hotel- Sustainable Luxury
As the first mission-driven luxury hotel brand, 1Hotels provides profound wellness expeditions guided by the intuition in your soul and the hum of the natural world. My piece on the left, Marble Stone, was purchased for the Toronto location. Knowing that my work is stylistically and energetically aligned with their brand values, I was then commissioned to create a bespoke piece for the suites exteriors in the San Francisco location. This space won them multiple International Property Design Awards. You can read more about my time working with them in this post.
Coughman Project
This client found my work on Wescover and loved the textures and shapes, but needed something of appropriate scale for above her large sectional. Having never commissioned art before, I was happy to shepherd her through the process, so I could guarantee a luxury experience remembered for its creative release rather than uncertainty.
Using my piece “Rising Sun” as inspiration, we collaborated to create two coordinating pieces. Brush strokes full of movement, and graphic contrast of a minimal color pallet sit beautifully under sculptural pieces of raw canvas and metallic luster that catch the sun of the adjacent window.
During a video call to discuss commission progress she saw my piece, Access Point (left) and had to have it too. I hadn’t even had a chance to photograph it yet. The silver metallic float frame ties in with the metallics of the commissioned diptych, providing fluid continuity throughout her stunning Franklin Lakes home.
Johnson Project-
This client, K. Johnson, came to me with a background in interior design, a luxury new build home, and a very busy schedule. When she found my work online, she knew that because of the breadth of my style and various mediums, she could outfit the majority of her home with my work. This helped reduce decision fatigue as she wasn’t scouring the internet for each piece, but also ensured a very cohesive and soothing luxury aesthetic throughout the home. Over the course of a year she purchased 7+ original and custom pieces. A repeat collector is the highest praise and I loved being of service. You can see more of the process here.
“I received the piece and I love it! The driftwood is perfect and the size is right on! Thank you for another commission piece exactly how I envisioned it for my space! It was a pleasure working with you again!”
