Meditations
-
These pieces are made using scraps of old paintings and materials I save. They’re pure play and experimentation for me- two of my biggest inspirations right now. I could tinker with them for hours, just like making doll clothes when I was little.
-
I then sew the product of this meditative activity onto a piece of raw canvas, resulting in harmonious compositions with organic color palettes, like the ones seen here.
Among the brushstrokes and textures, there’s a quiet conversation between color and space, inviting stillness into your living space. Art with themes of mindfulness and wellbeing can turn everyday moments into meditative reflections.

These meditations are sewn onto raw canvas and displayed on loose hangers to feel less like a framed object and more like something living in the room with you. I wanted them to sit in the space unfixed, a little soft around the edges... like a thought that’s still unfolding. It’s a quieter, more physical kind of presence- something that doesn’t just hang on the wall, but breathes with the room.
