Fiber art for me is a meditative practice that provides release through repetitive motions. I like to juxtapose hard lines made with soft materials and natural elements alongside manmade ones. I include driftwood from Lake Superior because my family has had cabins in Northern Michigan for generations and it’s one of the most relaxing places I’ve ever been.
