Attracting Good

$300.00
sold out

8x10” acrylic on canvas in solid wood float frame. All work is signed on back and comes wired to hang.

————

Becoming a mother has made me acutely aware of how long and short life is. By this I mean, I only get one chance to create the life I want, but that one chance is made up of small moments every day. I want Layla to have an example of someone who is living a beautiful life they need no escape from. So, I started thinking deeply about how I want to feel in my life. Calling to mind moments when joy and stillness collide, and I find myself suspended only in the current moment. Rooted in connection and gratitude. But I don’t just want these ‘glow moments’ on the weekends or vacation, I need them as often as possible. I started painting how those moments feel, so I could have a visual cue to recenter my compass on the feeling I’m trying to cultivate. Less junk, more glow.

My hope with the Dream Life collection isn’t that you feel the same way I feel, but that it refocuses you on the vital moments when you feel most alive. Throughout the day, when the sun hits them just right, these paintings will actually glow, your subtle reminder that the good stuff is always there if you choose it.
