Art really is EVERYTHING
Collecting art is like building a library of energies. A huge part of changing your mindset is embodying the emotions you want to create, and surrounding yourself with art that looks how you want to feel can provide powerful visual cues to support you.
Setting the energy of a room before installing artwork is a crucial step in creating a space that feels aligned with your intentions. Before I hang any piece, I take time to feel the room’s natural flow and consider its purpose. Is it a calming retreat, a space for creativity, or somewhere you want to feel energized?
Next, I clear the space—physically and energetically. Whether it’s through meditation, saging, or removing objects that hold a low, unaligned vibe. Clearing away any stagnant energy helps create a blank canvas for the art to truly shine, ensuring that the energy within the art fills the room without any energetic blocks.
Once the space is clear, I place the artwork with intentions in mind, allowing the pieces to breathe and interact with the room’s natural light, colors, and energy. It can take a few days at least for the art to settle into it’s new environment, so give it time and patience. The canvas needs to breathe and feel connected to the energy of the room, and after a few days you will soon start to notice the influence it has on the space.
This mindful approach creates a harmonious connection between the art and the environment, inviting positive energy to flow throughout your home.
